I’m a one-year-old terrier-Jindo mix with a unique coat of white and soft brown speckles, weighing about 13kg (29lb). I might not be the first one to run up for cuddles, but give me a few days and a little patience—once I trust you, I’ll be your quiet, loyal shadow. I was rescued from the euthanasia list at the Cheongju city shelter. I don’t remember much about how I got there, but I do know that people haven’t always been kind. That’s why I take my time getting to know new humans, especially men. If you’re gentle and don’t rush me, I promise I’ll start to open up—and when I do, you’ll get to see the real me. 🐕My Personality🐕 I’m a shy soul with a big heart. With women, I feel a bit safer and warm up quicker. Loud voices and sudden movements can startle me, and I’m not a fan of being picked up—at least, not until I really trust you. I’m the kind of pup who thrives with calm routines, quiet encouragement, and someone who’ll celebrate the little wins with me. 🐕Social Skills🐶 I generally get along with other dogs, especially those my size or smaller. I’m polite and curious, but not overly playful. Sometimes, if a new dog gets in my face too quickly or tries to dominate me, I might snap back—so slow introductions are best. I don’t start trouble, but I do expect to be respected. 🔋Energy and Activities🎲 I’ve got a moderate energy level. I love my walks and sniffing everything along the way, but I still get spooked by unexpected sounds or busy areas and might try to bolt. A secure leash and harness setup is a must—and honestly, a GPS tracker like Tractive would be a good idea too, just in case. 🎲Training and Habits⭐ I’m potty trained and can go both indoors on a pad or outdoors. I’m quiet around the house and calm in a kennel, especially during transport or nap time. I don’t guard my food from people, but if another dog gets too close during mealtime, I’ll give a warning growl—so feeding me separately is best. 🏠My Ideal Home💕 I’m looking for a patient, understanding family—preferably in a quieter environment—with experience in helping shy dogs feel safe and seen. I might do well with a calm dog companion, but I’d also be happy as your one-and-only.
