š¶ Quick Facts š¾ Name: Ginger Age: 9 months old Gender: Male Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Brown Weight: 12kg šŗAll About Meāļø Hi, Iām Ginger! Iām a nine-month-old Jindo mix with a warm brown coat and boundless energy. Weighing 12kg (26.5lb), Iām a playful, curious, and intelligent pup who loves running, exploring, and making new friends. I still have a lot to learn, but with the right family, I know I can grow into a well-mannered and loving companion. šMy Personalityš I can be a little shy at first, especially with new people, but if you offer me a treat, Iāll quickly warm up to you. It may take me a few days to fully trust, but once I do, Iāll show my belly and lean in for affection. I love being around my people and have a playful, affectionate side that shines when I feel comfortable. Since Iām still young, I have a lot of curiosity and excitement about the world. Iām not the biggest fan of sudden movements or loud noises, so young childrenās quick actions and unexpected sounds can make me nervous. A home with older kids or adults who understand my need for a bit of patience would be best. šSocial Skillsš¶ With other dogs, Iām outgoing and love to initiate play. I enjoy making new friends and get along with dogs of all sizes, though I tend to be more comfortable with those that match my energy level. If another dog gets too pushy, I might stand my ground, so careful introductions are important. When it comes to food, I donāt mind people being near my meals, but if another dog comes too close while Iām eating, I might give a little warning growl. I love treats so much that I sometimes grab them quickly, so itās best to give them to me from below rather than from above. I havenāt had any experience with cats, but I get very excited when I see them outside. If I spot a cat, bird, or small animal on a walk, I might try to chase it, so I need a strong handler to guide me. šEnergy and Activitiesā I have a high energy level and need plenty of exercise to stay happy. Running is my favorite thing to do, and I love playing with other dogs in open spaces. If I donāt get enough activity, I can get restless and might start zooming around the house in circles to burn off my energy. During walks, I tend to pull on the leash, especially if I smell something interesting or see a familiar place I want to visit. If I donāt get my way, I might plant my feet and refuse to move, so I need someone who can gently encourage me forward. If I get too excited meeting a friend, I sometimes forget to listen and may try to run toward them without thinking. š²Training and Habitsš I already know some basic commands like sit, wait, lie down, and shake paw, but Iām still working on impulse control, especially when it comes to food and excitement. I may bark briefly if I want something, like a treat or attention, but I settle down quickly. If I hear āno,ā I usually stop what Iām doing. I can get anxious when left alone for long periods, so Iād do best in a home where Iām not alone for too many hours at a time. If I get bored, I might chew on things like pee pads or mats, so having proper outlets for my energy will help me stay well-behaved. I get very car sick, so traveling long distances may be difficult for me unless I can build up my tolerance over time. š My Ideal Homeš I need an active home that can provide me with plenty of physical and mental stimulation. A fenced yard or access to open spaces where I can run would be ideal. Since Iām still young and learning, I need a family that will be patient and committed to continuing my training. A home with another playful dog could be great for me, but itās important to manage food and treats during interactions to prevent competition. Iād also do well as an only dog if I get plenty of human interaction and exercise. A home without small pets would be best, as I have a strong prey drive. šSpecial Notesš Iām still a puppy at heart and full of potential. My energy and curiosity sometimes get the best of me, but with training, structure, and plenty of exercise, I know I can become a well-balanced and happy dog. I may need a little patience at first, but once I trust you, I will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If youāre looking for an affectionate, energetic, and smart pup to share adventures with, I just might be the perfect match for you!
